after all the problems i have had with my truck, i needee a new tailgate because the one i had was dennted from the inside and wouldnt open right, so i recived an e-mail about a guy selling a tailgate on this website, so i make contact and we agree on a price, i added an extra 25 dollars to the price because he had to wait a week to get my money order. it has been 6 weeks and he will not return any of my e-mails i have sent many, one of the most important ones attached, all the rest were where are you and why don't you answer type , the bad part was this was my fathers christmas present to me, and this guy stole it. and the kicker is now i am being forced to sell the truck because my fathers name is primary on it, and after the trany fiasco the tailgate was the straw that broke the camels back, so now i have no truck no tailgate and i am out 300 dollars, the last e-mail i sent was a warning a week agao saying if there was no response i would tell the Lightning community what happened so i did, sorry to any one who thinks this is a wast of space but beware.

well thats pretty lame. Isn't there a way to check who the P.O. box belongs to? Although I'll say one thing, doing a transaction without a phone number or street address seems kinda pointlessly risky. Hope you get it resovled and it's just a mixup.

 

Since you have the post office box, why not file a complaint with the USPS or call the Farmingham, NM police department...very often just threatening the person with filing this gets some action.

I read the entire postl and you said you have a monster box tranny. You also say that you had a tranny fiasco. Was the "tranny fiasco" you mention with the monster box or the stock tranny?

Good luck with getting your money. I have only had one major problem with an online vendor. Still haven't got that one straightened out yet and probably never will. :cough: cpr racing :cough:

 

trany fiasco= blown stock trany, + blown rebuild, then gregg gave me the hook up, the monsterbox i blew was my fault, and a a rookie mistake at that but greggs tranys are good tranys

By any chance did you get the money order with a Credit Card ?
If you did, try and call them and cancel the charge.
Make up a story, do what ever you have to, but explain that you send money for a product, and never got it. Unfortunatly I guess if you bought a money order, you did get the product and may be out the $

Sorry that I can't help you out with hunting down your nemesis but the MustangBadBoy clown claimed at one time to have been from Phoenix and I believe another time he claimed that he was living in Las Vegas. He's also made quite a few other fantastic claims...owning a DOHC L that he had specially built, he was going to be the first in the 9's at some big event with it, he rolled his car trailer with the '99 in it on the way to the big event where he was going to run 9's...yada, yada, yada. The guy sounds like and has now proven that he is in fact a douchebag!!!
