Help with 20 inch wheels..

Ok, before i get flamed for not doing a search... i already tried searching and the site will not let me do "20" due to the fact it's not 4 letters.

So, i want to hear what kind of 20's people have, their tire size and how the overall ride/handling improved or worsened. Also, prices would be nice and where you got them. My reasoning for this question is because my stock wheels are scuffed, the F1's need replacing and let's face it.. the stock 2002 wheels look blocky and gay. I looked into getting the Toyo Proxes S/T for the stock 18's and saw another L sittin on 20's that just looked badass! Now i got the bug and some cash. Please post links/pics of your truck on 20's if you can!

you may get flamed for that one...

Search under "Boyd*"

Several members here have run the 20" Boyd Coddington 'Smoothies' and they look bad ***. They are my personal favorite.

check out the pic about half way down. If that isnt a sweet stance, I don't know what is. There is some other pricing info on the wheels as well.

Big decision for you: do you want to go billet and have to polish then occasionally (actually hard work) or do you want to go chrome?

There are a lot less options in chrome and they will be heavier than billet...

tim's are still my favorite, but i dont know if his are 20's and i dont know if they come in 20s.

I also like jesse james rims. But damn they are pricey.

I work at a tire/rim shop and i there are hundreds of rims out there you can pick. If you get 20's i would not get billet. As much as i love it and would get them myself (im super careful though) i think they are too easy to damage. But the weight savings makes up for it. Its up to you.

I prefer polished because chrome weighs too much. I dont mind repolishing rims, its a weekly thing though. A good drive in the rain ruins them almost. If you get polished get a small buffing wheel. If you are **** like me and wash and detail your truck weekly you should be fine. If you are lazy you will be driving around polished rims that look silver. Chrome needs a quick 30 seconds on each wheel kinda wipe. Its up to you. If you like the 99 style you can always go with 20 inch replicas. I dont like the stock 2002 rims until i saw the 20 inch versions. The spokes need to be longer for them to look right.

I've heard that the Foosespanks are really heavy. Is that true?

If I were you I would buy a set of 20" 2002 replica L wheels. I wish I would have waited to get those instead of what I did. See my sig below and you know what I mean.
