Headers and Exhaust Questions
I was in Calgary at a company called Unlimited Performance and Exhaust getting the beef on how much for 5 k in mods and what do I get.
I WAS TOLD that the Basanni headers are garbage as they are known for warping but there exhause systen is awsome. Alternatively he wanted to sell me Banks headers with a optional ceramic coating for a additional $100.00 and that drops the under hood temperature by 40-50 degrees therefore resulting in more power. Anyone got a opinion on the Ceramic coating?
I WAS TOLD that my Superchip plug in type can' t be installed on my 03 Lightning because there is no knockout on the PCM. Seems kind of ironic
. The alternative is buy this hand held device that lets you alter the program or something like that. Remember I' am completely dumb to this modding stuff I was always plug and play. This companys web site is www.unlimitedperformance.com . This is as much as I have for tuners up here in Canada, as you know we all live in igloos 
and the local SVT dealer is telling my factory F-1' s are like driveing on 4 hocky pucks after -10 C.
My question to all of you is. What is the best exhaust system out there?
-Drop Shakels? I' am told hochkiss is the way to go
-Can the truck be chipped or is it that hand held deele?
-Air intake is that K&N on that big crome pipe, Is that the best one?
-What else should I do to the truck? (within a reasonable $ range)

Sounds to me like you need to call one of the Major tuners on here.
You can chip your 03, and brand chip should work with the right program on it.
On your direct questions:
1- Any drop shackel will work, they are all the same, about $50 us
2- Yes it can be chipped!
3- Get a Air Kit from one of our tuners
4- Chip, Cold Air Kit, FTVB, 4x4 pan & Filter, 4lb Pulley, Plugs About $1000 us dollars give or take some and you will have a REALLY fun truck! It will run in the mid to upper 12's with traction and be very safe!

I' am in Phoenix and Suprise Arizona on Jan 28 Weather permitting, I' am bringing the lightning down. I just as well do it right while I' am down there. Who is a good tuner in that area or is there one?
