FYI

Be very careful using the Predators tune for a pulley swap. I ran mine on Wednesday with thier tune and a 4 lb pulley, they had 21' of timing dialed into the tune on our crap 91 octane gas.

So do we need to organize a track day for the SoCal Loc to get you some new times? Your pic is kind of like a preview to some of what I'll be getting soon, I can't wait to see how your truck reacts to all of those mods, let me know when you get it installed so I can get your thoughts on all the mods.

Good advice. I recommend to all my Predator customers to NOT use the factory loaded Diablo tunes. They are way too aggressive. Most people want our PSP tunes anyway, but I put the warning in our directions just as a safety measure. We are working on getting Diablo to change the factory programs.

Sal,

What are they thinking putting that kind of timing in these trucks for pump gas? I figured they'd be conservative, but instead they give you more timing than most race programs. They spent a LOT of time getting these to market. I wonder when the first engine death will happen. If I was them I would have put a standard tune that keeps everyone out of trouble, and let them turn up the wick if they want at their own risk. Seems stupid to give you a dangerous tune right out of the box with the ability to make it even worse.

Jody

I checked mine with the performance tune (no pulley) and I had 17 degrees of timing. Is that too much or does that sound about right.
