NGK TR6 part # for our trucks????
HI!... I've currently got the DENSO IRIDIUM IT-20's in my 5.4. It's time to change them and I would like to try the NGK TR6's. Are these the "V" groove or the "G" groove version? I think the ones you LIGHTNING guys use are the copper core NGK plugs, correct? I went to 4 different auto parts stores and can't find TR6's for the 5.4. Only TR5's or TR55's. They show no listing for the TR6's for our trucks. Could someone please post the PART # of the correct SPARKPLUG to use. The # off the actuall plug card they are packaged in. THANKS!!!!!!
P.S : After doing some research, should I be using the TR5 plugs for my highly modded N/A 5.4. Which would be better? The platinum or the copper core? Longevity is not the point here. Just want a better performance plug.

Just tell the parts counter guy to give you the TR-6`s. The book doesn`t list them for our trucks. The TR-6`s are a cooler range than the stock plugs which would be good for higher boost than stock.
HI!... Well I ran all over WINDSOR today and no one has or has heard of NGK TR6's
Finally I went to PARTS SOARCE and they don't carry them in stock but they can get them. I ordered them and they should be here on WEDNESDAY. Cost was $27.00(CAN) for 8. Not bad since I paid around $145.00(CAN) for my DENSO IT-20's.
