questions about cam bolts and clunk
I am at 25,000 miles and the clunk has finally infected my truck. I am in the process of getting the stainless steel clunk washers.
1) I wanted to ask whether I should get two pairs of the washers
(one pair for the drivers side rear control arm and a pair for
the passenger side rear control arm) or just one pair for the
drivers side. The reason I ask is that I have done some
searching and there seems to be two conflicting points of view
on the subject.
2) Also what about cam bolts is it recommended that they be
installed along with the washers even if my truck is still stock
height.
Thanks,
Shawn

You only need the washers on the drivers side A arm. As for the cam bolts I would install them and have it aligned after you do the washer install. I think I paid like 20 bucks for a set of cam bolts and installed them in about 20 minutes. It's not only peace of mind it's also very easy to do.
