Unhappy Call me crazy but....

..think I'm getting tired of loud exhausts.

Started out with a Borla cat-back. After having it for about a year took it out and installed a stock cat-back but put magnaflow mufflers in place of the stock muffler. Just recently took those out and put in straight pipes for the hell of it.

Don't get me wrong, I love it being loud as hell but when you drive your Lightning as much as I do, it gets old. Plus I miss the blower whine...

Might just install a stock cat back again...

Moral of the story, wish I never sold my BORLA!! It has been my favorite cat-back and now I just realized it...

You crazy burrito . Actually, I faced the same thing awhile back (and still am). There are moments where the exhaust just sounds great... but the rest of the time I just want a quieter ride. I just want to drive from point A to B without all the attention. Stock cats going back on soon, hopefully that'll quiet mine down.

Wish I never got rid of my Dynomax Ultra-Flows, they were much better than the Bassani's I have now

Damn white bread, so you can feel my dilemma? Like you said, sometimes it sounds great for instance when going to Safeway for some tortillas (5 min drive) . Damn it to hell when I drive 60 + miles on the hwy. Yea my Borla exhaust was my favorite, too bad they want a arm and a leg for it. It is still as expensive as when I first bought it.
