The best station we have here is Shell with 93 oct. Also got BP put the station looks like crap. Be nice if there was a place near me with 94 oct. Prolly make the truck happier.

Highest octane in Lost Angeles is 91

Here it goes like this
Regular = 86
Mid = 89
Premium = 91

The two best brands around here are Unocal 76 or Chevron
Shell seems to be pretty good

Arco is crap
Texaco is crap (except all the Texaco stations became Shell stations)
Mobil/Exxon isn't really good either

All gas here is highly oxygenated. MTNB or whatever it is called is in the gas (except for Unocal 76, which stopped using MTNB and now adds ethonal...or however you spell it.) Once they started the oxygenated additives the MPG dropped like a rock)

76 man. Come on, if it's good enough for the cars of NASCAR, then it's good enough for my truck right? Naw, it's just the cheapest at a place in Manhattan Beach, and my tuner recommends it. I've had great results with it.

Is that the 76 station on Highland where the exit is that quick steep drop that causes one to scrap the front end?

That place always has low prices (which I can't figure out since the rent on that place must be high considering where it is...)

That's it. I can't figure out how they are so much cheaper (like 25 cents compared to the Sepulveda stations). You'd think it would be the other way around with it's location. I learned real quick to keep to the right on the exit. I'm sure that neighborhood is getting tired of me filling at 4 am on the way to work and tearing out of there though

For everyone reading this, it's in an area where the people would rather pay 14 bucks a pound for steak and not have to overexert themselves, than go to Vons 1 mile away and get the same thing for 4 bucks a pound. If I had that station, I'd charge 3.50 a gallon and watch the Porches roll in.

I live in Oklahoma and the best I can get is 91. Anyone know a place near Oklahoma city to get anything more than 91?

Usually at taco bell.... Oh you mean for the Lightning?

Nothing but Sunoco 94 & 100 here. If I'm out on the road and none is available? I try to stick with Mobil 93

LMAO at you guys. I've worked at the rack where the tankers fill up at a refinery. If you could see all the different (gas company tankers) trucks that fill up there, you would re-think that only one stations gas is best

Where ever its the cheapest or most convenient to get to. Never had any problems. As long as I use 93 octane, I don't anticipate any.
