Billet window switches?

Just have two questions for you guys that have done this.

Sorry, this may have been covered somewhere, but I didn't see it. There sometimes seems to be too much info to search...

Do the billet window switches light up like the factory black ones? They don't appear to, and I have been thinking about doing this, but not sure...

Also, in case I don't do this... I've been told that you just pop off the black cover, and install the new billet covers. Does this damage the black cover? If not would anyone who has done the swap be willing to give up the driver's side "AUTO" switch cover?

thanks...

steeda makes a nicer set than what you have probably seen...they are a little smoother on the curves, but have that same satin finish....they may have the steeda logo on them however, the pic doesnt look like it, but for some reason I think I saw them in person and they did

It says for 97-01. Would these fit on 02-03? I thought the switches were still the same.

what would be different about them? The bezels are exactly the same...why wouldnt the switches be? I dont see how they would fit in a universal bezel if they werent....

Where did you buy the set that didnt fit from?

they are the UPR/Steeda switches.

The switch itself it slightly larger and the way the switches themselves mount is different.

I spoke with someone at UPR who said they were working on a set, but had no release date in mind.
