fuel line question help ASAP!!!!
hey all i thought i would ask here first seeing there seem to be more people here than another site!
i need to put in a barbed fitting to get fuel for a project. i have a little barbed fitting that is 5/16 or about 8 milimeters and i was wondering if i can cut one of the lines that go between the fuel rail and put this fitting in? i guess the main question is will those lines fit a 5/16 fitting? if not will the fuel supply to the fuel rail allow that fitting to be used? i can't use the nipple on the fuel rail at all at this point. this is going to a nx solenoid by the way.
my last option is i might be able to drill into the fuel rail and tap another fitting in ther. can i do this without taking the fuel rail off, ie drill and tap the rail while it is on the truck with fuel in there?
