Talking Newbie question and introduction.

Hello everyone,

Been lurking a while, thought I'd introduce myself. I don't have a L as of yet...hope to pick one up for my daily driver in the spring, or perhaps a HD still can't decide. Just about finished restoring my '65 fastback, feel free to have a look.

Now, on to my question:
When you read the stock HP numbers for these rigs, do they mean flywheel or RWHP?

Thanks,

They mean flywheel, but the numbers closely resemble rwhp.

How closely do you think? If stock FWHP is 360, do you lose 10% through the drive train? 15%? Or, is the manufacturer under rating the FWHP a bit?

Has anyone had their stock L on a chassis dyno for some real world numbers?

for the most part they are underrating to the best of my knowledge. I think some have dynoed with the 380 hp engine at like 360, I don't buy the 6% drive train loss.

That stang is badass My favorite car.
