Im going to be getting a set of 2001 springs (leafs) for my 2003 lightning from a fellow lightning owner this weekend , I think this will be the the sulotion to all of problems (03 L owners) have, as far as the height differences.I also have a set of 2'' lowering shackles to add to them,Ill post some pics sometime this weekend.

What ever happened to the drag racing on that guys private property?

 

I forgot,thanks for reminding me. The guy needs to tell me the directions again,Its around palmeto and 441,back in that warehouse area. the guy supposedly paved and ''walled'' a three lane ""track''.Its 5 dollars to race and thats where he ends his involvment.Like I said ill have to get the directions.When my freind gave them to me I was driving so cant remeber exact location.

Frank, How did you make out with the o1 leaf springs. I have an L identical to yours. I want lower the back end also.

it came out damn near perfect.I havent got any pics yet but Im only 1/2 inch higher in back now.Im very happy with the ride,if I knew the truck would ride so good I would have done the swap the day after I bought it.Ill try to get some picture this weekend.

 

Actually,, here it is, bottom pics is with 2001 leafs and 2'' shackles ...Top is with 2'' shackles only

 

I've got the stock 99' suspension if anyone wants to make me an offer...
