Will a 02 lower pulley work on a 2000 L?

My friend and I tried to put my 02 lower 2# pulley on his 99 L and it didnt seem to want to mount up. Ive changed my lower pulley a few times now, so Im not completely lame here. So will an 02 lower fit on an 00 L?

Thanks

Sean

The answer to the question is no. The pullies for the 01= has a bigger mounting hole. I think the rason it will not mount up is because you buddy may have a hub attached to his harmonic balancer. If you remove the three bolts on the armonic balancer and spin the hub to the left it should come off like a screw and expose the holes and harmonic balancer to mount an appropriate pulley.

Are the bolt patterns and bolt threads the same? If so then could you just spin the hub off and then bolt on the 02 pulley?

I was told that a 01 pulley would go on an 99-00 but a 99-00 pulley wont go on a 01+

I dont not think so, I have never tried. But i think the patterns are the same. All i know is the diameter of the mounting circle is larger. I would not risk it though, just my .02.
