upper end porting

I pulled my intake and could not believe how restricted the ports are in the intake there was almost 1/4 inch of metal smaller than the gasket. I took some pics of my porting job see my gallery for them has anybody else done this and if so what kind of HP gains did you see. I've got it back togather and it seems to run better at least not worse LOL. Feed back from tuners welcome (We!! requested) Thanks

Man now that is a lot of work, I can't believe you did all that grinding in the truck but it looks good.

Also that is the muddiest intake manifold I've seen yet, just cleaning the sludge out of that has got to be worth something.

My lower intake area looked the same at 34k miles - what a mess... cleaned it up with brake cleaner, like 3 or 4 cans.

Never though about porting the heads... that looked like it was hours and hours 'o fun

Nice job on the pics though Looks like you do some nice work!

Mine is ported, but I don't know if I gained anything by it.

Dude, if you did that much work why not just pull the heads off and do the exhaust side.

Looks good though.
