Question Anybody tried the Silverstone sparkplugs

They are a silver core "non-resister" sparkplug.

I bought a set from Outrageous Perf, but was wondering if there were any test subjects out there.
Dale

PS....my engine is still on the engine stand or I would know already

No 'hits' for Silverstone.

I run the Silverstone S1Ks. They have the Best idle and responsivenes of any plug I have tried. Willie Figeroa, Engineer and tuner at Diablo, swears by them. These are the only plugs I will run along with some TR6s I have in stock. I meant to redyno with the Silverstones but my motor blew.

Wouldn't the S2K's be better for the bigger pullied L's? They are colder than the S1K's...

Jeff, not according to Willie. The Beru S1k's are awesome, and I am running 16lbs on a KB, 2lb upper - 6lb lower. I know the gap is really tight at 33-34.

I have tried 3 different plugs and Beru S1K's are my favorite. Like Pete said, idle, throttle response was the biggest noticeable difference. I ran this plug in my Vette years ago and the same result. They are even priced right, I keep an extra set on hand, just incase one doesn't live up to it's reputation.

Good Luck!

It has been posted on here before not to run "non-resistor" plugs with the L coil packs. Is there any truth to this?

Inquiring minds want to know.

P.S. Type in "Beru" when doing a search. You'll get plenty of hits.
