I called the dealer he used to work at, they said he quit to try something else for a living , that didn't work out. They said he was selling cars again somewhere, they think, That's all I know.

I need some new floor mats.

Cut Rate Warranty

Too bad he's not around anymore. He sold me an extended Ford 6/75 warranty (doubling the standard warranty) for about half price. Saved me over $600! Nobody at any of the Orlando dealerships would even come close to that deal. In fact, they wouldn't even discount an extended warranty at all. Said it was impossible to do so. I called Fordsales and he said no problem. I gave him my credit card number and I had the extended Ford warrenty in the mail a week later. Great price and great service.

Yep he did help out allot of us..Kind of strange that he just dropped out like that...His last post had Doug spanking him for using the board for selling the floor mats...Maybe that had something to do with it... That's been almost 2 years ago...

That's another reason why I called the dealership was to inquire about the extended warranty, they will still sell them at a great price compared to my local dealer.

I have his mats over the hole.. LOL
They are greenish - But he admitted he was color blind.

Jim got away with selling warranties and mats here for years. I reminded him to ease up on the direct selling. If that drove him away then he wasnt very determined....

He also was instrumental in helping put together the FAQ as I remember....

Yeah, I miss seeing him around here.

He used to work at the Ford Dealership on Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach.

Used to email him questions once in a while and he was always kind and helpful in his replies.

If he's out there and checks in....

I thought you would like that one Doug.

I got a hole started under my Drivers foot. I need a new set. I haven't seen anybody else make them as good as Jim's.

Jim got screwed over on matts and warranties by people who wrote bad checks, that was one of the reasons he originally pulled out...
