so sal lemme get this straight.

I can buy a predator. Tell you the tune I want or changes I want made to my tune. You can make them and EMAIL them to me. Then I can load the programs on the truck myself?????

That would be nice.

No more shipping fees and no more wating!!!!!!

Joe, you got it! Don't forget the Predator allows YOU to make some changes as well. So I could send you a custom file (like what's on your current PSP chip), and you can make small changes to it yourself.

Casey, I have not decided on that yet, as this is all very new to all CMR dealers. But I am shooting for about what our current chip reburn costs go for ($10-$20). I'm already getting lots of people contacing me who bought Predators elsewhere and want PSP tunes for them.

Thats a great price.

Sal,
Do you know if power reduction is turned off on the predator's performance tune, or can it be adjusted.

I have not looked at any of the Diablo loaded tunes, but I would assume it's turned off. Whatever your preferance is, I can change in a custom tune.

well this sounds interesting
sal, what would you need to know about my truck in order to make a tune for it?
right now i am running a JDM flipchip but this sounds a lot faster and more effecent.
not that i dont like my superchip but in order to get the best tune possable i would have to go down and have them toss the truck on the dyno (4hr trip for me)
at least with the preditor you could get the program close and i can adjust.
have there been any problems with the preditor for the GenII L
thought i saw a thread on SVT Performance that some one was having an issue.

Mike, same as if you ordered a chip. Truck year, mods, etc. What would happen is I send you the Predator, you download your stock PCM file, and e-mail it to me. Then I make you a custom file, and e-mail it back to you.

Yep, or you can get them at the same time and have them on your PC ready to use.

Sal, this is great !

but the thing i really really like about the 4way i use from you, is that i can switch programs on the fly. like i usually drive around on the eco program and switch to street when i need it.

is there any way to do this with a predator?

Well, the Predator reflashes a single program onto your PCM, so no, you can't switch anything on the fly. BUT, you could still put your chip onto the PCM with the Predator tune loaded in there if you wanted to use the chip at any point (I am almost 100% sure of that). And you can use the Predator to datalog as well, with your chip on there. But if you are happy with your PSP 4 way, by all means continue to use it. The CMR stuff and the Predators are just more tools for us to use to help people achieve their tuning needs. If your needs are met with what you have, then stick with it .

well i think a 5 day turn around time, that i got from you last time is good enough for me. so i'll just keep using my 4way.

i know this time it will take longer though, holidays and all

Lets say you already have a 4-way chip. Can you leave the chip in there, and load tunes onto the 4way? So you can have 4 tunes from the predator on the 4-way chip. I doubt this is right, but that would be cool.

Will you be supporting the Predator out for the Cobra also?

Can you make a good custom tune just off the predator data logging or do you need to have a dyno as well ?
