Going to do my own E-fan

I would just like to know the simpliest way to do it. I figure I know where top get the fan, Summit is about 25 minutes from my house so I will pick up a fan there, any specific model?? Also, as far as wiring goes the easier the better. I absolutely suck at electrical so the least anount of wiring the better. Any help would be awesome.

If you are not good at wiring, I would go with a kit already made. If you are making one fan kit you will not save much making your own. The other thing to think about is, the time involved and if you mess up, the amount of money spent for nothing.

Just something to think about. I make our fans and it takes some time to complete. The wiring in our kit is very nice and easy for the end user (but some work for me).

thanks....that was one of the threads I printed out...I got about 5 now and they are all pretty easy with a few exceptions. Just basically the wiring gets me...Looks like I will have to tackle this and learn as I go!!

Thumbs up

If you're not good with electrical (like me) go with the one from Outrageous Performance! I got mine from Tommy and it's a quality piece with only 3 wires to hook up, 1 of which is ground. Easy enough that I could even do it! The increase in gas mileage alone makes it worthwhile. I'm geting an add'l 30 to 40 miles per tank full! Not bad, huh??
Another benefit I found is - with an open performance filter set up you get less "fan wash" w/the efan....
