Curb Weight/ Redline
Curb Weight/ Redline
Is the curb weight and redline the same for 99-04?
Curb Weight = 4,700
Redline = 5,250
What is Curb Weight Exactly?
Trying to get close numbers to input into the GTECHPRO.... I got numbers last night of 480HP and 693 TQ... obviously wrong!

Curb weight is the stock truck without a driver or any additional weight. A full fuel tank is included in the figure.
Im guessing the red line is the max pay-load capacity including a driver and fuel? If thats the case then the 99-02s would be the same...but the 03-04 have the jacked up rears which allow for more pay-load.
So what kind of toy did you buy now? Is it a HP calculator or something?

I think redline is the same on all stock L's.
Weight is different for every truck. When I use the G-Tech I just use the same number all the time (4800lb). I dont think you will always have an exact number. Even if you weigh the truck every time you test it, as fast as the L drinks gas it is constantly changing
.The G-tech is a great tool, I have found it to be very consistant.
