Someone give me the non PHD description of what the predator does..

Is it this??

YOu buy it, You get a little programmy thingy
You plug it into your computer somewhere other than where the chip goes
Then you get programs from Predator or your tuner..

And you can change it as much as you like to whatever you like??

Is this on the right track or am I totally off and no surprise to myself if I am off!!

You are correct, that's how it works.

 

You buy the Predator. It comes with several Daiblo tunes for each year. If you want a "custom" tune, what you do is buy the interface kit (allows you to hook the preadtor up to your PC), then you download your STOCK calibration. You send it to me, I make you custom programs off it (because of the PATS) then I e-mail them back to you. You load them on your Predator, then into the truck through the OBDII port. That's it .
