somethings wrong...

after about 2 weeks with the new 4lb lower on without tuning my diablo chip the truck was running fine...ive done plenty of wot runs with no problems ( short blasts 40-60, stop to 60)...so i finally got the courage to put the slikcs on and go to the local 1/8 mile track. Ran a nice 8.5 but my trap speed was a low 77mph...before installing my 4lb pulley i was running 8.80 @ 80mph...i could feel the truck dragging twoard the end of the track...like it was holding back...now everytime i get into anything past 10psi it starts to sputter really bad...of course i let out immediatly...i have an idea it has somthing to do with the A/F..because it has yet to be tuned..plus it has droped to the 50's here...im planning on doing new mods in a month or so...so should i wait to get the tune all at once or tune it now..and then again once the new mods come along..is it safe to drive on???
thanks guys

At first it sounded like your plugs were drowning out, but you are running TR6's. Sounds like it's the tune. I would keep is easy until you can get the chip tuned properly.

No problem...hope you get it fixed...I know it can be nerve-wrecking if there is something wrong with the L.

last night i tried pulling the chip out....and running the stock computer...its sputtering and and poping even worse now! i cant push the gas more that 1/4 way..i sure hope this is a fixable problem by just getting it looked at by a tuner...then dyno/tuned....

fuel pump tube came off one of the fuel pumps.

reattach it, and repalce the clamp. (see other post)

Fuel pumps or Fuel filter. Replace the filter (15 minutes). Might save you more heartburn

it's chip related. if you must drive, stay out of boost. get a tune after you get all the modifications, or else you will add a nice vent hole in the block.
