Need your advice

What is the best fuel system set-up? I currently have overkill in my opinion. I have a Weldon pump that I want to take out and replace with the normal 255 pumps (2). My question is, I also have 1/2 rails with 50lb injectors, -8 supply line and -6 return. Should I keep all this, or should I simply put the stock rails and lines back on? I already know that I will be replacing the 50# injectors with 55's, but I'm not sure about the other plumbing. The truck stumbles a bit off the line, and shuts off after the truck has been driven a while. I think these quirks are all a result of my fuel system, hence me wanting to change to what everyone else is doing.

Can't help you with the best fuel deliver system, but if you end up moving to the 55's, for the right price I might be interested in the 50's if you want to sell? What is the brand of injectors you currently have?

I hope someone with know how gives you an answer. I know for myself I have the cobra 255 pumps and I have max'd the stock injectors. My tuner told me all I need are the 50's or 55 injectors and I will be all set. There hasen't been any talk of changing lines or rails. I am pushing 496/562 currently, but with 16lbs out of my KB the 42's just can't keep up.

Let me know, dpearson@fortmyer.gannett.com

Good Luck!

you'll be better off in the long run keeping the "overkill" fuel system, than switching back and realizing it's inadequate eventually.
