Fiberglass hardshells

I didn't want one at first. Now, I have a trailer so I can get carpet and a cover. How much do these things cost you? How much did it slow you down in the quarter? What brands are best? Thanks!

Are you talking about tonneau covers? The hard fiberglass ones not the floppy soft ones. (yeah i know it sounded bad). I priced a century cover at a truck store where I lived for 749.00 installed. I like that one because it doesn't have any raised areas like some others do. I like the relatively flat profile. Jsut do a google search for Ford stepside tonneau covers. Hope this helps.

The ARE LSII like mine runs from about 760 bux...all the way to a smidge over 1000 ...it depends on the bed style and options.

Mine was about 1000, but they cut me a deal for 945 since it was the second lid I had bought that year. Mine included underside carpet to match the bed rug, keyless lock, and installation.

You can snag a bed rug anywhere between about 290-350 bux...depending on who you order from.

I've got a Glasstite "Breeze" on my 00 L. Cost was $900.00 with a carpeted underside to match the Bed Rug. I liked the Breeze because it is flat on top. No ridges. Got it at a local dealer. Fit was very nice, paint was a perfect match.
