Gtechpro

Competition GTECHPRO $250

This thing will give you:
- 1/4 mile E.T. and speed
- 0-60/0-100 mph measurements
- braking distance
- HP and TQ measurement
- G Force
- Reaction Time
- Full/Pro Tree
- Shift Lights
- can be set for several vehicles
- simple to set-up
- download runs to computer with the serial cable included
- update firmware online

The best thing about this meter is you don't have to run a full 1/4 mile to get readings.
It will give data for a partial run.

I just ordered one of the "old" models last week for $39 off Ebay new in the box. I have used one before and the ET's are very accurate. I was contemplating getting the Comp Pro like you have, but couldn't justify the extra $$$

Take it to the track and see how close the times are next year!

I really like the the fact it gives realworld HP/TQ numbers... not just standing still strapped to a dyno.

I used the Pro at the local 1/8th mile track. It was consistently .1 off in the 60' and .2 off in ET. The mph was 4 mph higher than what the track was reporting.

Edit: I was using the new G-Tech Competiton. It records everything. 60', 330', 1/8, 1000', 1/4, and so on. The software that you put on the computer is pretty cool too.

Yours did 60' ??????????????

The ET was about .1 off on mine and the MPH is always high...it calculates the MPH differently than the track does. All I use it for it 0-60 and 1/4 ET.

I think the book says that's do to Shallow/Deep Staging.

The gauge will give you 60', 1/8 mile and 1/4mile times.

Electrical System... there is a calibration setting you must perform to get correct readings.
