by next year ill have enough money saved to do either a new project car (thinking about a supra) or i could just give my truck the kb treatment with all the other good stuff. i dont know what to go with. i love my truck and would love to see it at the 600+hp range running 11s but i never owned a sports car before what would you guys do. give me some suggestions

 

A Supra (assuming you're talking TT variety), will probably cost you more than KB, built motor, etc. etc. Their resale value is very high. And modifying a Supra is not cheap either.

I might get flamed for this...... If you only like drag racing and straight-line stuff, stick with the truck. If you want a sports car because you think something that is lighter and lower might be fun for all around driving, get a sports car.

I'd look at the WRX STI (not really a sports car)
Vette ZO6 used.... can be had for a good price

 

Supras are supra heavy and supra expensive. I have a friend with a MKIII and thats even expensive to mod. If your going to do a project car get a Z06, theyre light and theyre is alot of mods out there for them. Theyre good for both straights and turns, so whatever you want to do with them theyre game

 

i have a friend that could help me find a wrecked supra turbo. the more i think about it i should just mod up the truck because im more into drag racing than track. i still have sometime to think about it but, my truck with a kb sounds real good to me. keep the suggestions coming
