Yep bottom end is still stock, I haven't touched the internals, As far as the whine goes I think the pitch deepened alittle. Its louder but not as high pitch. Sounds mean

my air fuel was fine. Im running the same chip I got from Sal before I changed to a ported blower with no problems. Ran the dyno before and after and everything looked great.

How hard of a job is it to remove and install the supercharger? Any special tools needed? Thanks

Nope Just basic tools. There are a couple of bolts towards the rear that are hard to get to if you have big hands but it was rather simple. We changed the Lightning blower and a 03 Cobra and the Lightning was easier.

It's easy.

Basic tools and extensions are all you need. Take your time and be carefull.

The hardest part for me was lifting the blower out of the engine compartment without scratching anything, and thats only because I'm short.

It's not easy if you're 6'5" either... my hamstrings and lower back were SHOT the day after, from being in those weird positions under the hood

I feel your pain. I'm 6'4". Do you have to drain intercooler fluid? If so how hard is it? I heard it is a pain in the a$$ to get the fluid back in. Thanks for all your help. I never had a supercharger before so this is all new to me.

If you remove the blower snout, then you have to remove/change the blower oil.

The intercooler sits underneath the blower, therefore you don't have to worry about draining it.
