Thumbs down New Custom "HEATEXCHANGER"

JUst thought I'd post some pics of what can happen when you don't use jack stands!

I trashed the exchanger, tranny cooler , radiator, Bumper cover and Driverside fender was push'd outward.

Could have been wosrt I had my hands on the side's of the tire, Luckey not on the top!

That sux big time. I had the same thing happen to me once at the track this year, while changing my left front tire. I was just about to pull the wheel off and bammmm...down it came. My wheel caught the edge of the rotor and kept it from landing on my feet. I was sitting flat on the ground with both legs straddling the wheel. I don't stick my legs under the truck anymore, while changing the tires.

Some of these jacks don't always stay where they are suppose to....Jack stands are part of my collection now for working under my truck.

Glad you didn't get caught under it.

Rocks

I had the jack on the big crossmember in the middle.
I guess the more I raised the jack the more it was pulling back?
Yo TIM hook me up on the part #'s for that tranny cooler?

Dayumm!!! You are one lucky guy. Kinda reminds me of the jokes that go sorta like this:

I needed to change the tires, and I've got a Craftsman jack
THATS GOOD!
I had my hands in the wheelwell when the truck fell off the jack.
THATS BAD!
It didn't get me!
THATS GOOD!
It totally FUBAR'D the front of my L.
THATS BAD!
We have the technology, we can fix it!
THATS GOOD!
I wanted to buy other stuff with my mod money!
THATS BAD!

Did it fall off the jack, did the jack shift, or did the jack lift plate break?
