Stupid Question - Where is my chip

laugh if ya want.... but like iv said before.. im still learning... this is my first car (truck) that has been like this, so its all new to me... anyway, i wanted to call PSP and check my chip to make sure its programmed correctly.... anyway, where can I find it so I can read the code on the back?

Lower passenger side on the right. You should be able to read the code right off of it without pulling it out.

is it a silver box? i found a silver box up in corner... has a latch on it... also has some masking tape around it too though

yes its silver, if theres tape on the end of it, then the chip is most likely under the tape. if you pull the chip out i would make sure that the battery is disconnected first.

He is pretty excited about his L isnt he. I know i was like a fat kid in a candy store when i drove my L Home from the lot.

You dont have to disconnect the battery. Sal tuned my truck last week end and he removed and replaced the chip without disconnecting the battery. Said it wasnt a big deal.
