PIAA wipers rock.
I got tired of my wipers skipping so I broke down and installed the PIAA blades. At $45.00 they better be real good and I am happy to say that they are. The silicone blade along with the wipe down pad they come with really works good. Also they look kinda cool with the yellow stripe embedded in the silicone. Sort of like a Pirelli tire.
When I took my old ones off I noticed they were made be Trico. No wonder they skipped. I guess thats why my wifes Expy's wipers don't skip, since hers have no brand label on them. For all I know they could be made by Trico but in three years they have been good for her.

I got them from a local off-road shop. If anyone carries PIAA lights, they will also can get the blades.
Yeah I know it's rediculous, but with the amount of rain we get in the Pacific Northwest a guy can use the best

Rain X treatment and a good set of blades will work just fine. The water just runs down my windshield and sometimes don't even need to use the wipers. $45.00 seems a little much for some wiper blades.

I installed a set of Trico Teflon blades this afternoon. Bought them at Sam's Club yesterday for around $16 for the set. They appear to be very good quality, certainly better than the set I had before. We get a lot of rain here in Central Florida, so time will tell if they are as good as they look and if they will last.

I use Rain-x all the time, however out here when it rains and it's cold (35-45 f) wipers tend to skip. Like I said before, the Expy's work great, mine don't. Rain-x is great for on the freeway but around town a person still needs to use the wiper sometimes. Anyhow take it for what it's worth. Just thought I would pass it along.
