Halflife....you could do it yourself you know...it takes all of about 50 minutes to an hour....just drain the tran pan, switch out the internals from one VB to the other and put back in....

i'll be out there in a few weeks ....i'll send you an email, maybe we can all meet up again...

I know I am just feeling lazy, I usually do everything myself. But I do not have a driveway and I must do it in the street. So there is a potential with this to make a big mess right? My neighbors hate me enough from my truck waking them up at 4 am. I will probably do it myself anyway.

Email me when you are in town.,

One of my first mods and to this day, one of the best. Although I asked my tuner to turn up the volume on line pressure, just a tad (Not recommeded, mind you), but you only live once. It Rocks!

I got the FTVB on my L. It took like an hour to do from start to finish. I also have my line pressure raised too. The truck goes sideways on the 1 to 2 shift and chips the 2 to 3 shift. I am gonna go for the C2R valve body next. One of the best mods I have done.

Mine hits harder on 1-2 than 2-3. Does the "sideways, chirp" description. Decreasing intensity slightly after nearly 15,000 miles on stock tranny as my clutches digress. Still fine by me. What differences are there in the C2R?

The shifts are much harder. I know Gregg discourages using it but I want one bad.

I may need one of those to futher push out my upgrade tranny purchase in the future. She'll still sit up and stop forward progress on the 1/2 shift though. I guess I can wait
