What if I just want Mufflers and not a cat back?

The stock system has 2 mufflers right? So does Magnaflow sell bolt on Mufflers as a cheap alternative for someone who only wants better sound? Part numbers would be good too

Thanks for any help, Jason

Stock is a single muffler with dual inlet/outlet. I had the single Magnaflow muffler on mine, but I thought it was a different length than the stock muffler so it would not have lined up correctly without their outlet pipes. Plus the factory outlet pipes are welded to the muffler.

I think the correct Magnaflow part number for the single muffler is 14568. I am not sure what is needed to install. Can the stock muffler simply be replaced with the Magnaflow for a better sound or is a lot of welding needed?

I replaced my single stock muffler with a single Magnaflow that flowed much better, and was a little more aggresive sounding.
If memory serves me right, the shop had to either rebend or fabricate another short extension where the existing tubes entered the new muffler. Cost was minimal, and it only took the guy about 1/2 hour to complete the entire procedure.
Sorry I can't remember the part number but I believe the one that HotRodMan gave is correct.

I had the stainless single Magnaflow on my 2000 L in place of the stock muffler. Part #14468. Took a little "shifting" to get the inlets on, but no pipe was needed. I did buy some mandrel bent sections to use for tailpipes coming out of the outlets on the muffler. Then I had the stock tips reinstalled.

I am contemplating on my 03 to do anything, although the tips suck to keep nice looking. But by the time you spend $100 on Maggy tips, you might as well just put the whole catback on for $369. And everything is mandrel bent
