lightning and Baja

Has anyone converted a bolt into an off road warrior! Would'nt mine seeing it . Think it would do well in the Baja 1000 mod truck division. Anyone want to form a team!

i know theres a few pics of lifted L's around here somewhere...it would take a hell of a driver to handle the power on dirt though....it would be fun though

lightning offroad

no offense but believe me it wouldnt be that hard to contain the lightning power in the dirt, most of the trophy truck or unlimeted trucks are weighing in at 4800 pounds wet running either an alum small block or a big block pushing 800 hp to the rear wheel, you could make the lighting into a prerunner but for a race truck it would be near impossible, rules for the fullsize truck class states it must be naturally assperated, as for built lightings i do not know of any to the date, i am pretty close with a ATI powered 4.6 but not a lightning by any means, also with the ford motorports Duralast is the only team i know that is "sponsored by ford"they are running a 5.4 DOHC similar to the 2000 CObra 4 i am not sure who built it but hearing it scream at WOT into 8:1 headers makes me feel all good inside
