What will the weight ratio be after an aluminum block?

Seeing that JDM will be producing an aluminum block- I was wondering how much more the weight ratio would improve ... How much does our stock block weigh anyways? assuming that they use the same amount of metal, some of you smart people could recalculate the new weight ratio Or is this just wishful thinking and there won't be a lot of weight savings?

BTW what is the current ratio? 57 front 43 rear?

If you give me the weight of the new aluminum block and the weight of the old iron block I will let you know the new distribution.

Its actually not that bad considering a 911 Carrera has a 40/60 weight distribution.

I would gladly trade a 40/60 distribution for a solid chassis instead of our ladder frames, and a drop of about 1000 lbs.

All in all though, the Lightning handles pretty well given its curb weight, rear leaf springs, and solid axle.
