Installing a MAF gauge

I’m installing a MAF gauge, is there a preference (or doe’s it make a difference) to what oxygen sensor side (Passenger or Divers) to hook up to, also the connection occurs to the sensor that is closest to the head. I understand that the exhaust has two per side.

I don't think it matters which side you put it on, just be aware that you are only monitoring one bank of the engine.

do put it in the upstream sensor (closest to the head) the downstream sensors don't switch, they are just there to monitor the catalytic converters to make sure they are operating efficiently.

later,
chris

One more for you, Is there an advantage to switching the gage, to be able to toggle from the left to right bank? On the other hand, "is it useless" if one bank is lean, so will the other?? (I have the calibrated MAF gage! If it matters.)
