polishing supercharger
polishing supercharger
Ive read alot lately about oil being sucked into the intake from the pvc valve and how people are removing their supercharger and intercooler to clean the oil, i am going to be doing that this winter while it is parked in my garage. and while i was removing the supercharger i thought it would be a great idea to go ahead and polish the supercharger and intake. is there anyone who has done that and could tell me how to do this, so i could fight off the bordem this winter. thanks alot
Stop now and just get it powdercoated!
I have wasted way to much time/money polishing mine.
The best info I can give you is to polish the blower fully assembled and put some tape over the intake and exit to the blower case. If not you will trash all your bearings and need to have them replaced.
I currently am having my blower sent to Magnusun Products for a complete bearing upgrade.

I have a close friend that is polishing my upper right now, he took the KB with him to polish also.
Then he called me a few days later and said that it was way too much work....so he is only polishing the upper .....no polished KB

I was thinking of polishing mine also. I mean it looks great polished, but I don't even have the fraction of the patience need to complete that task.
It would take me over a year to do
If you want it to look nicer, get a powdercoat.
