For all you Nascar Fans.... I didnt get a chance to watch the Race today at Homestead, but all my buddies were telling me that they used a Lightning as the Pace car! Kick A$$!! Well, anyone else see it? Did they talk about it at all? What color was it?

 

They use red one as the pace truck for the craftsmen truck series every week. They also use one as the pace truck at senoia speedway in GA.

 

I saw it (red), pretty neat as my sister noticed it was an L too.

I was coming on here to tell yall about this and got beat toit, dammit I'm always too late. Anyway, they used the truck for all three races this weekend but I party'd way too late last night so I slept past all the pre race stuff and missed anything being said about it, sucks! Did anybody else here anything about it, I was hoping since Ford sponsored the race that they might have commented on the Concept L and the new Srt-10 war.

 

I heard from some people that the president of Ford had some things to say about it before the race, but what...I dont know.Anyone have any links maybe?

 

next year ill be in some truck races but itll be in a dodge backed truck. you gotta do what you gotta do

 

They had a in car camera in the Lightning and you could hear the supercharger whine when they were bringing the cars up to speed

It looked to me like the Lightning was winning.

 

What about all the 'built Ford tough' motors that didn't make it to the end of the race? How many Fords finished in the top 10? Looks like the Lightning pace truck was Ford's only highlight in the 'Ford 400'!

 

It wil only be 2-3 short track races for next year. Because you have to run some short tracks before you are allowed to race on the bigger tracks.

 

Yea, did anyone notice Bill Elliott climb into a L after his last lap flat which caught his car on fire?
