oil on exhaust tips...

howdy everyone, well i today i removed my chip and cleaned the contacts because shes been running like ****, stalling and almost dying while driving down the highway, anyways i fixed that problem but when i was cleanin my truck up i noticed there was oil buildup on the exhaust tips...ive never noticed it before, is it normal? or should i be alarmed and be prepared to open my wallet up?

mine has the same "problem" if you want to call it that, I think it's fine....yours is an 03 also, so they do have to break in a little...It's annoying though...those stock tips get dirty really quickly!!

Perfectly common if not 'normal'. All of them run 'rich' and oil get's injested thru the intake vacuum/PCV valve situation. Don't sweat it.
