Talking Flexing the no chip 2000 Ford tune. :)

3 yrs, 50k miles and I'm still unchipped.

One of those things that "one of these days" I'll change, but handling had come first.

Well, here's the latest dyno's!

** EDITED NOTE **
THERE IS NO STORY HERE, THERE IS NO "PROOF" FOR ANYTHING. I GOT DYNOED, I VIDEO TAPED IT, I POSTED THE DYNO AND MY VIDEOES, MY STOCK FORD TUNE IS VERY CONSISTANT AND RICH, THAT IS ALL THIS POST IS REALLY ABOUT. . IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A STORY, GO ELSEWHERE. SHEESH.
** **

History:
310/383-SAE (stock + PSP Intake)
334/413-SAE (PSP CAI + JDM headers/dualmuffs)
357/439-STD (PSP CAI + JDM headers/dualmuffs + BABolt TB + Ported/Match Upper Plenum)

Check out the videos... in the "dyno2" run you can watch me peg the A/F meter with my big fat "10" A/F ratio at peak! Hehe

DYNO PULL 1
DYNO PULL 2
DYNO PULL 3

One of these days I'll install my other parts, lol.

Daniel

PS
the movies are still uploading, so if it dosn't work, just wait and try again later.

For history:

The longtube dyno plot, check out the nice ~30rwhp/30rwtq gain across the whole powerband!

My original stock+PSP CAI dyno:

Is there a story here, three dufferent dyno's, different days, different places???? Only one is consistent three runs, and based on temp all are well within the same range as if no mods were changed???? What's Up?

3yrs and 45k miles with no chip here, only mods are JL 3# and 90mm maf. Driven hard in extreme heat and freezing temps, and never detonates. 354/445 (SAE), dynoed hot right off the street, 86* air temp.

Also notice that the first 2 dyno's are SAE horsepower, like everyone in the high performance/racing world uses. Your JDM dyno sheet is STD, I guess because it shows higher numbers...so based on the data you posted the headers weren't really worth 30hp on a stock truck.

With headers and an air filter you're not really pushing the no chip envelope, neither am I. SVT02 ran an 8# lower/2# upper with no chip for a very long time, and ran low 12's in COLD february weather. His tuner blew it up on the dyno giving him a dyno tune.

Hah, christ, you guys make me laugh. "What's the story"? lol.

The "story" is at three different RANDOM points in owning my truck I went and got dyno'd. There are the plots. I listed what was on the truck at different times. Take it to mean WHATEVER the hell you want it to. I was a little surprised to get a peanut-gallery comment from you Andre, you are not normally the type!

Yes, the last dyno@JDM is is STD not SAE, but the only thing "new" in the last dyno was the throttle body, plenum and winter air.

The long tubes difference are on the SECOND dyno plot, which is in SAE and is double plotted with one of my non-header runs.

The "pushing the no chip power" was a joke, because for three years, I have done just about nothing in the way of power-adding. I've done 10g's worth of suspension and brake work, 5g's of audio work, and 5g's of appearance mods.

"What's the story?" hahaha...wow...people always try to read into EVERYTHING eh? A guy just can't post stuff he has for fun. Wait, let me post up my college transcripts, you can pick apart my grades and give me a psychoanalysis on how my life was progressing as I was learning to be an adult.
