Thats right. All the fun and excitement of the FFW is coming to the East coast in NEW JERSEY.
The papers were signed on thursday.
Englishtown Raceway park is a first class facility with all paved parking and plenty of room.
All the 6 second pro 5.0s will be there plus the AWESOME show cars.
I am very excited about this. the closest FFW to me was 5 hours away. So it will be nice to have an event in my neck of the woods.
I would think the Tough truck class would be HUGE for this event and the winner gets $500 plus about $600 more in contingencies if you run the right stickers (which are provided at the track).

Start now for reservations as hotel stays gets sparse during National events.
This news is so new it is not even posted on the FFW site yet, but I was at E-town today and was told about it and then it was confirmed by Jim @ JDM.

Friday will be Muffled vehicles only and Sat. and Sunday will be "Noise Days"

You do have to join FFW to run , but ask a lot of L brothas and they will tell you it is a great experience and everybody has a blast.

I hope it's not on the same weekend as World Ford Challange because if it is most of the Pro-5.0 guys will be in St.Louis racing for $35,000.00. Two of the quickest FFW Pro 5.0 cars are from Illinois and I doubt they'll be driving to Jersey for a couple grand when 35 grand is 5 hours away.

But all of that means crap if the events are happening on different weekends, just mere speculation on my part...or something.

 

I think WFC 7 is May 13-16
