Does anyone know if a lower street scene grill from a 2002 Lightning bumper will fit my 2000 bumper???

well, it should...i say should because it seems like all the grills (99-03) have different inserts, with the same rough opening....i had a hell of a time getting my SS lower in, and it still doesn't fit correctly...i called them directly and they told me they never had a complaint.....rrriiiiggghhhhtttt...
