taking off the lower pulley and cage

i am trying to change my stock belt and cant get the original lower pully cage and pulley plese help i unscrewed the three bolts on the cage and it dosent come off.

you need to loosen the middle allen bolt. It is a left handed thread.
turn it clockwise to loosen.

You are going to have to make something or use a tool to stop the crank from rotating. Ford has a tool which does this. You have to remove the starter to use their tool. Most tuners have a strap which is attached to the transmission case and the fly wheel. Sometimes it can be difficult to remove the stock lower pulley. I would suggest getting a cageless 2 lb lower or something to stick on there once you get that caged pulley removed. You could probably find one on ebay or in the classifieds for $50-$100. It may even come with a pulley removal tool.

Does your belt need to be replaced because it broke?

no i just wonted to change it to a gator back belt because the factory one slips on shifts already changed the supercharger belt and dident stop the slipping
