Question Help

Can anybody tell me how noticeable/loud the clicking sound was under the hood prior to spark plug flight? I have noticed just such a sound but it is faint and I have to be listening for it to hear the sound from the engine compartment. Thanks for any help.

You may be hearing the normal fuel injector 'clicking'? I have yet(?) to have a plug loosen up much less, blow out but it has been described as an "exhaust-type sound".....................

I sometimes too hear that really faint clicking - fuel injectors as stated above was the reason I was given.

Has anyone even launched a plug on an '03? I don't think so.

mine is a 2000 with 30k on it, the sound is not like an exhaust leak but more of an actual "clicking"...hope it is just the injectors, but since readding about all of the plug launches I have been a bit more concerned.
