Opinions Wanted: Diablosport Hellion OBD2 scan tool
I have a laptop but with a passenger there's not a lot of room for additional clutter in the cab. And I'm not sure I want/need the extensive data logging of EASE or Autotap. So I'm considering the Hellion and want to know if people like them or not.
1) Would you buy it again? Or buy something else? (Is there a better standalone alternative to the Hellion?)
2) Can it do 2003's and new vehicles out of the box, or do you need to download updates every year? Can it be updated at all?
3) How does the "freeze-frame" work? Is this just a pause button? Or is it recalling and reviewing "logged" data before unplugging the unit and resetting its memory? Or does Hellion do real-time monitoring only?
4) Does it seem to monitor all the parameters you care about? Or did Diablo miss some of the good ones available on other products?
Any other gripes, complaints, or problems? Thanks!
