First attempt at plug change...

Well I switched out my stock plugs with TR6's last night as my 4# pulley is being installed as we speak. Just 1,800 miles on the stock plugs so I'll keep them. My friend works at the dealer and borrow the mechanic's "secret" tools Took a little over 2.5 hours

All in all it went well for my (our) first attempt. I did 6 myself including the 2 "bears" in the rear. The rear driver's side is a PITA!

So will I finally see a 12 this weekend? Time in my sig is with chip only and in 45-50 degree air. Supposed to be around 50 this weekend

2.5 hours isnt bad for first time. Joe helped me do mine the first time. I bet if I tried them now on my own it'd still take me about 2 hours or so. Good luck this weekend, Shane

Thanks Shane...I'd like a solid 12.80 or 12.70 of F1's...if I can cut a decent 60ft

The biggest problem I encountered that hindered me from getting into the 12's was traction. I know I would have been in the mid twelves, with similar mods, if I had slicks but had to settle for a 13 flat. Let me know how you do.

Yeah I was surprised I did as well as I did with just a chip in the cold air on F1's. My Lakewood bars helped TREMENDOUSLY! I was cutting 1.9's most of the night. If I can do it again, I'll be in the club. This truck just seems to get stronger and stronger...

Nope! They were all tight and looked like they were burning well...but then again, not many miles on them. I have had the chip in most of those miles though so at least I am not lean...
