L sideskirts
L sideskirts
Are the L sideskirts 6 or 8 pieces. My real question is are the pieces that go under the front fenders seperate little pieces from the piece that goes under the door??
thanks,

each side is composed of 4 pieces.
1 small piece below each of the front fenders, the long piece under the doors...then the medium piece by the exhaust, and then there is the rear "skirts" that go behind the rear wheels.
The first two pieces are seperate but clip together from behind

I hope this info doesn't aid those who wnat they're trucks to look like a lightning and in turn have people with other cars think lightnings are slow becuase they raed a truc that they thought was one. Something to think about.
Is there somewhere I can purchase just a single piece of the sideskirt? I have a pretty big scratch underneath my driver's side door on the sideskirt...I'm getting my back window fixed later this month at the dealership I guess I'll just ask them
SNCBOOM are you sure it is a scratch I thought I had a scratch on mine but it was just a scuff from my work boots came right off with a little wax. Also if it is scratched just get it repainted the body shop will fix the scratch before they spray it.You will have to paint the new one anyway.Call Bass Auto Body on Hill Ave. they have painted my rear 1/4 when I had a close encounter with a Mail box(don't ask) you can't even tell it's been painted looks better than new.

I won't say it as brutally as jlaird did, but uhhhh, i guess none of us can modify our trucks, at all . . . right? Heaven forbid anyone get a ground effect kit.

thanks man.
Sorry, I just get pissed sometimes. And I don't want this post to blow-up with responses we've all read time and time again. . . I've just always kept my mouth shut and thought it was time to open it.

Quick question for you guys. Since this is a multi-piece item do you know of anyone who's had them installed on a Harley truck? Is it even possible? I am in the process of getting an exhaust system for my HD and would like to exit in front of the back wheel, but don't like the look without the L sideskirt. Has anyone out there done this?
Thanks,
Thanks,
