Lightning maintenance question?

Changed the oil in my 2003 Lightning today for the first time. I usually lube the chasis zerks each time I change oil but notices that most of the drag link and tie rod joints don't have grease fittings, unlike my earlier Explorer and Ranger. Having had a bad experience with my Ranger where Ford charged me an outrageous price to replace a worn out drag link that the original owner seldom if ever lubed, I'm kind of paranoid I can't lube it. Looks like it would be a chore to take it off and drill the four joints for grease fittings. Anyone had any issues with worn front suspension tie rod and drag link joints - or should I stop worrying??

My 2kL has 40k miles, and the steering is as tight as it was new...
