Miss at idle...need opinions

I have on 01 that has a chip and 4#'er. I changed to the Tr6's and it gave me a slight miss at idle but runs perfect on any amount of load. I then changed to IT 22's which seemed fine at first but then developed the slight miss again which to me seems to gotten a tad worse. Still under any load, the truck runs great with no missing. I have a set of the BR7's, should I try those and see how that affects it? I definatley want the IT 22's out since it started missing with those also. Any input would be appreciated.

My '01's got it too...no cure found yet after trying both NGK's and Denso's.

"Oh yes the 01 L miss syndrome!!!!!!"...well said.

There isn't any NEW news or updates on my L...As of yesterday
my dealer has NOT been able to connect with the SVT engineer
concerning this rough idle...this nonsense has been going on since Oct 17......trying to get SVT and the dealer service manager and tech to work out a different diagnostic strategy...as said before (my prior thread)...no scancode errors ever pop up...it's just that my STOCK babied truck has a rough, shaky, twitchy idle that started about 4-6 months ago...the fuel filter, IAC, plugs, crankshaft sensor, MASS, airfilter have all been replaced under warranty in the last months...I getting really fed up with SVT...I'm going to let this ride for the next few weeks and if nothing is resolved or a honest attempt is not made to isolate/fix this then
a documented letter to J Colleti plus other Ford big boys and girls will follow...This just seems like a dam runaround (do you guy's not agree?)...the whole stumbling block is just having the dealer tech and a SVT engineer on the phone together WHILE my truck is there so they can both try some different stuff....WHY is it so difficult to arrange for this phone call???...and a salesman from the dealership tried to sell me a new F-150...I asked him why should I buy another Ford product when you can't even fix the one I have or even make a good faith attempt to resolve a problem in a reasonable and timely fashion...Before I called SVT to get involved in this issue, the dealer considered the rough idle as just a "oddness" of this truck and since no error codes were generated their wasn't any thing really to be conserned about.
The truck runs fine other than a rough idle...I still suspect the fuel injectors or coil packs but the dealer wont replace them unless SVT authorizes it (since the coil packs and injectors test ok).
My opinion is that coil packs and fuel injectors may test ok under
typical diagnostics but be indeed bad or borderline.

BTW...this past weekend there was a local car show and I met a guy with a georgious L with faint ghost flames and trick wheels,
(he knows Chickenears)...he commented that he has seen a number of L's with this rough idle and their problems were resolved with a professional fuel injector cleaning...hmmm.
I got a pic of this guy's L....super nice...

I've messed around with this issue too, and it brings up an interesting point. My current rough idle started after I put in the Denso IT 22s. Now I have the BR7s in and the problem is still there (in ADDITION to the BR7s not idling 'nicely' anyway).

Dumb question time. Is it possible that plugs could affect (break, weaken, etc) coil packs?

Is anybody stock having this problem?
