but I see he has now replied here, and unfortunatly it is him

I didn't wan't to jump to any conclusions without hearing it from him, maybe a few of us should have taken that route.
I'm REAL GLAD to find out we didn't lose another Brother or two,
like Tundra + Sonic

but it also sounds like someone was feeding Leeann the info,
and it WAS NOT her to jump to these conclusions.

Lets all be thankful Mike's ok, and not assume Nitrous Blew
his motor, wrecked his Lightning, caused pimples on his face,

We have all been seconds away from an accident just like this. I had a very close call just yesterday.
Glad you are ok Mike, it appears you and the truck went through a very nasty ride.

I hope insurance covers you without hassle and hope to see you back here soon.

Bottomline, if Mike's pictures were going to be posted on a thread, it should have been as an inquiry.............such as "Who's truck is this...........is he/she ok......etc" The title of this thread is REALLY PHUCKING STUPID.............that says a lot, for the author of the thread.

Then, you have others on here who can't even understand simple logic, or even the flow of this thread and its posts..............someone even accused Mike of creating another username to "defend himself"......are you *****tin' me. You my friend, are ABSOLUTELY PHUCKING STUPID!!!

Man what a bummer. I am very happy to hear you are OK. That must have been one hell of a ride. I had a scary experience with my truck getting out of control, and I'll tell ya it aint fun. While these trucks are sport tuned, all of the extra weight can get you in a heap of trouble in a hurry. 4700+ lbs is alot of weight to control when things get hairy...

I dont know you Leann, but I think the title of the thread, and the way you posted it was completely tasteless and disrepectful. I dont care if you heard from someones friends, cousins, best friend's aunt- its all heresay. You seemed more interested in posting pics of the wrecked truck than saying whether or not Mecca was even alive. That just aint cool at all.

 

WOW ..Those are some depressing pics !! Six pages of this thread are depressing too....Members here made some BAD posting decisions..Too late now ..Mecca is O.k. which is most important......Live and learn......I'm sure if Mecca was screwing around (not implying he was) he's beating himself up over it now ..You guy's and gals don't need to...

Glad you are ok brother... Dont let people here get to you. No matter what the cause your ok and you can replace the truck. Salvage what you can and start over. NO BIGGY!

I will be down that way in Dec and would still like to meet up with all the local guys.

Its a loss my friend, she was a beautiful truck!

Again, thank God your still here and learn whatever lesson you can from this. I learned alot on my last wreck....

To those that have wished me well, I thank you quite a bit! Life isn't tangable and can't be replaced, and thats the way I look at it. Thats all that counts. As for another L, I highly doubt it. Right now Im scared to get into any car, let alone drive an L again.

Give it a few weeks, and you'll be back on the saddle again, mecca. I was terrified at driving after being in a head-on collision years back, but eventually got over it. As long as you got through OK, screw the truck

One thing I've learned, never trust anyone on the internet, unless you know them in person. Even if you know them in person, they sometimes like to come on forums afterwards and say completely different things than they say in-person. But, don't lose hope, you have a lot of well-wishers
