FLUSH bedcover?

hey guys, im looking for a bedcover... i havent really looked around so I dont know much of whats out there... but I just have something in my head that I want...

iv seen lotsa bedcovers on various trucks driving around and I dont like most of them at all... most have a big hump or come down the side of the bed...

im wanting something FLUSH... that almost fits inside the "square" perfect.... doesnt have to be painted fiberglass either.... and to be honest, i would like something that comes off and on pretty easy... i basically just want it to cover the bed, not really to lock stuff up in...

can anyone help me out? thanks

FRANK5L has a hard tonneau comver that sits flush with the bed rails.

I think it is a slim top or something like that. It doesn't curve like the snug top, it is flat across. I don't hink it comes with a locking mechanism.
I'd PM him and see what exactly it is

Also, I think he only paid $300 new for it

I went to a local shop looking for tonneau covers and they had exactly what you described. I don't remember the brand, but it's out there! It fit inside the bed rails. You ought to look at some smooth bed rails if you go that way.

Those are humped. You won't find a flush soft cover.. stock is about as close as you will come. I know the type of cover you are lloking for, but don't know the name. Also, stay away from roll'n'lock crap... that stuff looks horrendous, is heavy, and will have to drill many holes.

If you do a search for LIDS in the Lightning forums, there is a picture of I think Spanky99L's cover. It is flush and doesn't hang over the sides. Don't know the name though. Anyone know the manufacturer?

I've been looking for the same thing.. Here's a couple of options:

http://www.truckaddons.com/manufactu...industries.htm

http://www.pace-edwards.com/jackrabbit.asp

There may be cheaper places to buy either of these... the links are just for display/photo. I also haven't had a lot of time to research either, so I can't recommend one other than by appearance right now.
