I would like to know if there will be any problem reinstalling my stock water pump and if it will work better with my electric fan. The more I understand about the cobra water pump, the less I like it. If it's infact moving less water and this is where the extra hp is coming from (if there really is any), this can't be good for the engine in the long run. I would think you would want to move more water, not less.

Any ideas how the motoblue water pump pulley will work with the stock pump?

I have the stock water pump on my truck with a E-Fan. No problems.

 

Casper, where in Illinois are you? How was the install of the Efan with the stock pump, I was thinking of going that way to after hearing all this stuff about the cobra pump. My trucks goin to JL next weekend for my built motor, cnc ported heads with upgraded cams! So I was gonna have him do the efan, LT's, High flow cats, and traction bars while its there! Thanks, Jeff
